Hi, i have a router with wireless on,and i want to get the ap information via "iwlist wlan0 scanning". BTW,i stop the ubuntu Network-manager service in order to connect to the ap manually, but seems the scan result does't contain the ap info i want. meanwhile, the cellphone can get the router ap info. i start Network-manager service again, and the Network-manager doesn't find the ap info of the router too. the kernel of ubuntu is 6.30 and the madwifi driver is madwifi-trunk-r4132-20100620. Does anyone encounter same questions? could you give some advice? i try to reboot the PC or router, but it doesn't work. -- View this message in context: http://madwifi-users.20070.n2.nabble.com/Unable-to-get-the-specific-AP-info-via-iwlist-wlan0-scanning-tp5700803p5700803.html Sent from the Madwifi Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Achieve Improved Network Security with IP and DNS Reputation.
