Hi Sebastien, Quoting "Cayetanot, Sebastien" <[email protected]>: > Ok , I have patched the source code of the madwifi driver to replace > skb_append by skb_queue_after and the build succeed. > > Now, when I load the ath_hal module, I got a reply in dmesg with: > ath_hal: 0.9.18.0 (AR5210....) It would be nice if you wrote everything in one message. It's hard to understand what you have downloaded and patched. I believe you should not have to patch the current snapshot from the 0.9.4 branch: http://snapshots.madwifi-project.org/madwifi-0.9.4-current.tar.gz If you are having compile problems with it, please let me know. I'll try to fix it. > But when loading the ath_pci module, I got a list of "unknown symbol > ieeexxx" and "disagrees about version of symbol and FATAL error to > load the module Please don't rephrase error messages. It makes it harder to find out what is going on. It's better that you give one error message exactly as is. I believe you may have some modules loaded from another version of MadWifi. You can run madwifi-unload or reboot the system to make sure those modules are not loaded. I hope you are using "make install" to install the modules. -- Regards, Pavel Roskin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Own the Future-Intel® Level Up Game Demo Contest 2013 Rise to greatness in Intel's independent game demo contest.
