driver fails to see the modem

Hi,

this is using kernel 2.6.6 on an iBook G4 (first gen). The modem id is
0x05ac:0x8202.
hcfusbconfig ends saying it didn't detect a modem.

I would have provided the output of a 'lsusb -v', but probably due to some
other bug, lsusb hung my wifi adapter before telling about the modem ;-)
