I reported that my system crashed with Kernel 2.6.10 when I load the hcfusbhw module. Now I tried again with hcfusbmodem-1.05powerpcfull.tar.gz and a vanilla kernel 2.6.11.5 and it does not crash anymore. When I run hcfusbconfig now I get the following error: ERROR: no device detected by hcfusb driver But lsusb shows my modem, which is supported by the driver: Bus 002 Device 005: ID 05ac:8202 wvdialconf also can't find my modem: --------8<------- ibook /home/magnum/src/Modem # wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf Scanning your serial ports for a modem.
