Hi, it is quite possible that the problem is that the '/dev/modem' symlink is removed after each reboot. This happens most of the time when the '/dev' directory is managed with 'udev'. We have improved 'udev' support in the latest release of the HSF driver and this improvement will probably fix the problem.
