Hi,

it is quite possible that the problem is that the '/dev/modem' symlink 
is removed after each reboot. This happens most of the time when the 
'/dev' directory is managed with 'udev'. We have improved 'udev' support 
in the latest release of the HSF driver and this improvement will 
probably fix the problem. You can download the latest version of the HSF 
driver at :
