Re: Lockups with hsfmodem_7.18.00full on 2.4.18

Hi,

did you try using an unpatched or official Debian kernel? It is possible 
that the low-latency and/or preempt patches you applied to the kernel 
may be causing the lockups.

Please report if you have the same problem without the low-latency and 
preempt patches.
