Hi,

the C compiled required to compile kernel modules is 'gcc'. You should 
install the 'gcc' package, which is provided with Red Hat Linux 9, if 
you want to use a generic package of the HSF driver.

The device created by the HSF driver will be named '/dev/ttySHSF0'. A 
symbolic link '/dev/modem' should also be created or updated and it will 
points to '/dev/ttySHSF0'.

If you require more assistance, please send at [email protected] the 
output of 'dumpdiag'. Type the following in a root shell:

---
hsfconfig --dumpdiag
---

Just send us the generated file located in /tmp ('hsfdiag.txt').
It'll help us solve the problem.
