Hi, we can see the following error message in your 'dmesg': --- HSF: ERROR: SILICON Laboratories or LUCENT AC97 modem detected!<3> HSF: ERROR: This driver only supports CONEXANT devices<3> HSF: ERROR: not a Conexant modem<3> --- It seems that you have a modem based on a Lucent Technologies or Silicon Laboratories chipset, and not Conexant. Linuxant provides drivers for modems based on Conexant HCF and HSF chipsets. There is a Linux driver for LT winmodems that might work. Please see these sites: http://www.linmodems.org http://www.physcip.uni-stuttgart.de/heby/ltmodem/index.html Regards, Jonathan Technical specialist / Linuxant www.linuxant.com [email protected] Rod Wright wrote: > It seems that hsfconfig can't find my modem. lspci shows: > > 00:1f.6 Modem: Intel Corp. 82801CA/CAM AC'97 Modem Controller (rev 02) > > and lspci -n shows: > > 00:1f.6 Class 0703: 8086:2486 (rev 02) > > The output of hsfconfig --dumpdiag is attached. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > _______________________________________________ > hsflinux mailing list > [email protected] > https://www.linuxant.com/mailman/listinfo/hsflinux
