Hi, everything seems fine in the dump you have provided and you should be able to use your modem with the '/dev/ttySHSF0' device. Please note that 'kppp' defaults to '/dev/modem' for the modem device and it could be the source of the problem. You can solve this problem by running the 'hsfconfig --serial' command in a root shell and the '/dev/modem' symlink to '/dev/ttySHSF0' will be created. Alternatively, you could configure 'kppp' to use the '/dev/ttySHSF0' device instead. Please note however that not all 'kppp' versions have the feature to change the device used with the GUI. If you require more assistance, please send at [email protected] a log of the connection attempt that you can generate with 'kppp'.
