Hi,

everything seems fine in the dump you have provided and you should be
able to use your modem with the '/dev/ttySHSF0' device. Please note that
'kppp' defaults to '/dev/modem' for the modem device and it could be the
source of the problem.

You can solve this problem by running the 'hsfconfig --serial' command
in a root shell and the '/dev/modem' symlink to '/dev/ttySHSF0' will be
created. Alternatively, you could configure 'kppp' to use the
'/dev/ttySHSF0' device instead. Please note however that not all 'kppp'
versions have the feature to change the device used with the GUI.

If you require more assistance, please send at [email protected] a
log of the connection attempt that you can generate with 'kppp'.

Regards,
