Hi,

if you have rebooted and it didn't fix the problem, then it is quite 
possible that your modem is not based on a Conexant HSF chipset. If this 
is the source of the problem, a message stating so will appear in the 
output of the 'dmesg' command in a root shell.

If you require more assistance, please send at [email protected] the 
output of 'dumpdiag'. Type the following in a root shell:

---
hsfconfig --dumpdiag
---

Just send us the generated file located in /tmp ('hsfdiag.txt').
It'll help us solve the problem.
