Re: problem with Conexant HSF softmodem (USB-0572:1300)

Hi,

it's normal that the version 7.18.00.05 of the HSF modem driver doesn't 
compile correctly on the 2.6.14.x kernel as we have added support for 
the 2.6.14.x kernels in version 7.18.00.06 of the driver.

We are not aware of the problem you have mentioned with the HSF modem 
driver version 7.18.00.07 and the 2.6.14.2 kernel. Please send to 
[email protected] the output of 'dumpdiag'. Type the following in a
root shell:

---
hsfconfig --dumpdiag
---

Just send us the generated file located in /tmp ('hsfdiag.txt').
It'll help us solve the problem.
