Hi, the problem is that your modem with PCI ID 2000:2800 is not known to be based on a Conexant HSF chipset. The HSF modem driver we provide only supports modems based on a Conexant HSF chipset. We can see this in the output of the 'lspci -v' command: --- 02:03.0 Modem: Smart Link Ltd.: Unknown device 2800 (rev 02) (prog-if 00 [Generic]) Subsystem: Smart Link Ltd.: Unknown device 2800 Flags: medium devsel, IRQ 169 Memory at fc000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=16M] Capabilities: [80] Power Management version 2 --- Since the PCI database on your machine knows this device as a Smart Link device, it is quite possible this this modem will be supported by the Smart Link Linux modem driver that you can download at: http://www.smlink.com/content.aspx?id=135 Regards, Jonathan Technical specialist / Linuxant www.linuxant.com [email protected] [email protected] wrote: > Sir, > > I am Using > Fedora Core 4 linux with kernel 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4smp and gcc version > 4.0.0(Architecture : i686) > Please help me to install my conexant soft modem( NSFI, Cx11252-11). > > I tried it several times. modprobe.conf, hsfdiag.txt are attached > herewith. > and other tresults from terminal are given below: > > _______________________________________________ > hsflinux mailing list > [email protected] > https://www.linuxant.com/mailman/listinfo/hsflinux
