(no subject)

hi,

i have hsf conecant modem and gentoo linux 2005.0 with kernel 
2.6.11-gentoo-r3
i downloading hsf driver and install it
but when i use wvdial i hear the port open
and the line sound but it not dial the phone
number and end with no carrier

i use this modem before with slackware 10
with kernel 2.4 and it is work very nise

some one told me that is may be alsa problem
but i dont what i can do

my sonund card creative vebra 128 and use alsa
compiled in kernel not as module

plz help me.
