Hi, as Roman suggested, if you are not using the 16K stacks kernel, please try with it to see if there is a difference. The HSF modem driver is known to require more than 4K of stacks in many cases and the original Fedora Core 5 kernels are compiled with only 4K of stacks. If it doesn't solve the problem, while using the 16K stacks kernel, please send to [email protected] the output of 'dumpdiag'. Type the following in a root shell: --- hsfconfig --dumpdiag --- Just send us the generated file located in /tmp ('hsfdiag.txt'). It'll help us solve the problem.
