hsf driver is not working with AMD Athlon 64

Hi, I been trying to solve this problem but nothing I do seems to work, I 
have a Conexant 56k internal modem running on an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 
processor, a MSI MX482M2 motherboard and running Gentoo Linux 
(linux-2.6.15-gentoo-r7) and installed the latest driver from your site (had 
to compile myself). The driver does compile with no errors at all but when 
running hsfconfig I get the following message:

I don´t know what what else must I do get my modem on line and I don't have 
an active internet conection with linux and I really need my modem to work 
with it.
