Hi,

we are aware of the 2 issues you have mentioned.

The first one related to the snd_pcm_open_substrean function on the 
2.6.17.x kernel can be fixed by installing a patch with the 'hsfconfig 
--patch' command in a root shell. The name of the patch to install is 
'hda_2.6.17'.

For the issue with the '/etc/udev/rules.d/hsf.rules' file, the fix you 
have proposed will be added in the next release of the driver.
