Hi,

since the compilation of the HDA part of the driver fails on hda_proc.o, 
it is quite possible that this is the same compilation issue on the 
2.6.18 kernel that our developers are currently working on.

Please send us the complete build log, it is possible that we have a 
patch to solve the issue. You can generate the log by using the:

---
make > build.log 2>&1
---

command in the '/usr/lib/hsfmodem/modules' directory.
