Re: modem doesnt detect the call signal !!!

Hi,

please make sure that the right country is set with the 'hsfconfig 
--country' command in a root shell. If you are behind a PBX or similar 
equipment, please try without it to see if there is a difference.

You should also test with a low-level telecommunication software like 
minicom to see if you receive the 'RING' notifications of the driver or 
not. In this way, it will be easier to see if the problem is the 
software using the modem or the modem driver.
