Hi, I installed the full HSF driver on a 2.6.18.2 kernel. After the first "make install", I then used "hsfconfig --patch" to install the patches - snd_pcm_hw_param_set - read_size The installation of "read_size" produced the following error message: Downloading the file 'http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/full/archive/patches/hsf-7.47.00.03-read_size.patch', please wait... done. Patching... failed. ERROR: Failed to install patch 'hsf-7.47.00.03-read_size.patch'. Output from the 'patch -p1' command: --- patching file modules/GPL/hda/hda_proc.c patching file modules/Makefile Hunk #1 FAILED at 100. 1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file modules/Makefile.rej and re-running "hsfconfig --patch" shows the patch as NOT being installed. It is however as doing "make install" followed by "hsfconfig" detects the modem. It would be nice if this was corrected as it is not clear the error must be disregarded -- it caused me hours of frustration. Cheers, ChriS
