If I take this one step at a time and start with the licensing issue...

I had to compile my own module as I have the latest kernel supplied by 
Fedora Core 6 ( 2.6.20-1.2933 )

I have tried to use efax from the command line to send a fax but nothing 
discernible happened.

Here is the output from hsfconfig --info
