Hi, version 7.18.00.02 of the driver is too old to support the recent 2.6.18 kernel of CentOS 5. Please try with the latest version of the driver available at: http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/full/downloads.php or contact your modem vendor for an updated version of the driver that will support newer kernels.
