Hi,

yes it is important, an i686 package will not work on a x86_64 kernel. You
should use the generic package of the HSF driver in the RPM format for
x86_64 that you can download on this page:

http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/full/downloads.php

instead.

Subject: [hsflinux] trying to get hsf working

Hi!

I hope this is an active list!

Anyways... I really new at this... but I've been
trying to follow all the instructions to the letter on
the linuxant page under the HSF section.

First of all, maybe I should make sure I'm downloading
the right rpms.

The arch. for my system is x86_64, but since I see no
package for it, I just download the i686 version.

Will this be a problem?

Regards,
joel
