hi,

thanks for your reply. those init strings unfortunately don't seem to help
my problem - if it's any help, the output of my
/proc/driver/hsf/0/lastcallstatus says that the reason for the call being
dropped is "n400 exceeded", something that has been mentioned before on this
list, i noticed.

again, if it is of any use, i use the fglrx ati drivers (8.35.5) and lirc
modules, and have an hda-intel soundcard - just wondering if there could be
a conflict with some of the modules.
