Hi, you have a HDA modem and HDA support was not compiled in the driver according to 'hsfconfig --info', likely because the compilation of the HDA related modules silently failed. Please try with the latest version of the HSF driver available at: http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/downloads-license.php The new version of the driver (7.60.00.09) provides better support for the 2.6.21 kernel. You can manually get the error messages generated while building the kernel modules by using the 'make' command in the '/usr/lib/hsfmodem/modules' directory.
