System freezes on dell 6400 with debian

hi, some time my system freezes=\ when i not use modem it work fine,
at /var/log/messages - nothing interesting=((

my system info:
dell 6400 (dual-core 1.7, Conexant HDA D110 MDC V.92 modem)

Debian GNU/Linux unstable (sid)

Linux sl 2.6.22-2-686 #1 SMP Fri Aug 31 00:24:01 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux
try with 2.6.18-smp kernel, freezes too =(

driver -  hsfmodem_7.60.00.06oem_i386.deb (FULL) from dell site, try
latest from u site -it not help(
