D-Link DFM-562IS modem and Mandriva 2008

Hello,

I have the D-Link DFM-562IS modem. It was working fine when I was using 
Mandriva 2007. Now, I have switched to Mandriva 2008 (kernel 
2.6.22.9-desktop-1mdv) and have installed your driver . Kppp recognises the 
modem, but, when I'm trying to dial with ATDP, the modem dials as quickly as 
a machine gun shoots, and of course no connection occurs.
As far as I understand, when using ATDT, the dialing speed is OK.
But, in my country I can use only ATDP.
Please, help to correct the problem.
