Conexant Hermosa support in upstream alsa

Hi, is there any plans of Linuxant submitting the Hermosa support in 
patch_conexant.c to alsa upstream? In a recent thread in alsa-devel the issue 
was brought up about missing support for it in snd-hda-intel, but hsfmodem 
already have it, it would be nice to have it submitted, what do you think?
