Re: HDA modem ComCtrlOpen failed (2049), hsfconfig doesn't see modem

Hi,

you should try with alsa-driver-linuxant or the patch both available at:

http://www.linuxant.com/alsa-driver/

to see if there's a difference. We can also see a sound device attached 
to the HDA bus of your system, does it work correctly?
