SMC2802W reset timeout

Hi there, I'm trying to get my shiny new SMC2802 card running, but it doesn't seem to start up correctly. It seems to load the firmware OK then fail while resetting. There did seem to be some other posts in the mailinglist archives with similar symptoms, but I couldn't find any explanations or solutions. I've been compiling a debian 2.6.4 kernel (patched, of course, with the prism54 code).
