I am trying to get an SMC2802 running on Fedora Core 1. I have the
latest copy of the driver compiled into the kernel (2.4.25) and I have
the copy of hotplug that was referenced in the README. When I try to
bring up the wireless interface, I receive this output on the console:

# ifconfig eth0 up
SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory

When I checked /var/log/messages, I see the following output when I ran
the above command:

remove_proc_entry: 02:0c.0/loading busy, count=1
de_put: deferred delete of loading
prism54: request_firmware() failed for 'isl3890'
eth0: could not upload firmware ('isl3890')

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Ryan
