Jean has been working on this (USB first). He's > your saviour. This was told me already in another thread. I still don't understand why Conexant doesn't support the prims54-project. This would have been a good chance to get Linux support. As far as i can see, the old prism-chipsets had good support compared to other chipsets. What about a firmware? Not only a SoftMAC driver is necessary, but also a working firmware. What about that? Will Conexant provide a firmware? I guess not, so has Conexant assured the prism54-project, not to sue anybody for ditributing firmware, how ever it was obtained? Is there a FAQ on this topic anywhere? I'm so fed up with companies refusing to support Linux. --------------enigFDE4CB6DF5C9FA8DCDD16ECA Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (Cygwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCU3agqvCydZdHy5MRAgkgAJwOErYFA78ZDJgz5wnp2kSSCHiumACbBEu6 TAlTk4JjBBSPAZp81bPALs8= =RzMR -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigFDE4CB6DF5C9FA8DCDD16ECA-- --===============1931857594== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ Prism54-users mailing list [email protected] http://prism54.org/mailman/listinfo/prism54-users --===============1931857594==--
