realtek_cb.o unresolved symbol

Hi All,

I'm trying to install my 32bit PCMCIA ethernet card wich has the RealTek 8139
CardBus chipset.

The card is working perfectly in Windows XP.

I got the source rtl8139.c from scyld.com and compiled for 2.4.18 following the
instructions in the end of the file for CardBus. I got neither errors, nor
warnings, and seemed that the realtek_cb.o generated was ok.

But when I try to insert the modules I get the messages

realtek_cb.o: unresolved symbol unregister_driver
realtek_cb.o: unresolved symbol register_driver

I saw I am not the first in this list with this same problem. Similar messages
have been posted by Ricardo Jofre and by Can Bican but I found no answers in the
list archives.

Any idea?
