Salut Jean-Marc! I'm having the same problem with this webcam, similar kernel output error, etc. I have tried the module in several computers and kernel versions, all of them with the same error: $dmesg /usr/src/gspcav1-20071224/gspca_core.c: USB GSPCA camera found.(ZC3XX) /usr/src/gspcav1-20071224/gspca_core.c: [spca5xx_probe:4275] Camera type JPEG /usr/src/gspcav1-20071224/Vimicro/zc3xx.h: [zc3xx_config:591] Sensor OV7620 /usr/src/gspcav1-20071224/gspca_core.c: [spca5xx_getcapability:1249] maxw 640 maxh 480 minw 160 minh 120 /usr/src/gspcav1-20071224/gspca_core.c: data format set to RGB usbcore: registered new interface driver gspca /usr/src/gspcav1-20071224/gspca_core.c: gspca driver 01.00.20 registered /usr/src/gspcav1-20071224/gspca_core.c: [gspca_set_isoc_ep:945] ISO EndPoint found 0x81 AlternateSet 7 /usr/src/gspcav1-20071224/gspca_core.c: [gspca_set_isoc_ep:945] ISO EndPoint found 0x81 AlternateSet 7 /usr/src/gspcav1-20071224/gspca_core.c: [gspca_set_isoc_ep:945] ISO EndPoint found 0x81 AlternateSet 7 /usr/src/gspcav1-20071224/gspca_core.c: [gspca_set_isoc_ep:945] ISO EndPoint found 0x81 AlternateSet 7 Applying the patch has not worked, neither the poor "ports" from the 0x305? camera code I've tried. Michel (Xhaard) has pointed: " The -18 error come from the usb layer, try another usb socket" But none of my USB sockets in any computer with any kernel make the camera work, which leads me to think that it's not a hardware problem.
