Nothing special -- the driver work with any of
  Standard kernel driver interface (kernels 1.0 through 2.4)
  The 2.4 kernel hotplug/CardBus mode (kernels 2.4 only)
  The David Hinds PCMCIA interface  (kernels 1.2 through 2.4):
     When used with cb_shim.o, the standard driver may be used.
     If compiled with -DCARDBUS, the driver only works with CardBus cards.
