Question: How to install in kernel 2.4.20

Hello,

I am looking in the mailing-list-archive and in the web,
but I do not find an useful hint.

How do I install the drivers from ftp.scyld.com into the 
kernel-source-tree?
Or should I compile and install the modules as external
code outside the kernel-tree (I did it, but didn't got
my ZNYX 346Q working as bridging devices).
The Intel EEPro-cards work well in the same machine.

Please give me a hint where to look further.
