    How do I measure how many network buffers are available
and in use.  This problem is becoming chronic.

    Only pushing about 1.5 megabits/sec through two 10 meg ether
cards, Linux 2.0.38.  Getting too much work during an interrupt
even when nothing else is going on, on the machine.
