No changes! I've seen at most two interrupts (which might be
inserting the card), but no increase when pinging.

I'd have assumed not, but there's something on Netgear's
support pages that mumbles about it not working with
Windows-something-or-other unless you make sure that it says
"Netgear". Could be BS, of course. (I can't get it working
with Windows on this laptop because it's an HP hacked
Win95A, so Netgear's installation instructions don't
work. Not that I really care, but it would be reassuring to
have it work one one OS).

Sure. I just meant that the IP address &c were all OK.
