I had a similar box (I believe it was AlphaStation 6/333 or something).
It originaly came with a board which combined SCSI controller (Qlogic
based) and 10base-T/10base2 combo net controller. I never managed to
make this NIC to work with Becker's tulip driver while the other one
works just fine. I believe you can still find it in current 2.4 kernels
under "Generic DECchip & DIGITAL EtherWORKS PCI/EISA". Later on I added
another 'brand DEC' NIC to get 100base-TX which also only worked with
the 'old' driver. Only half-duplex though. As it didn't behave better
under OSF1 3.2 I believe it's hardware issue anyway.
