Donald, After I connected the board to another switch, it worked. Either with=20 stock 2.4.23 kernel's driver or with yours, version "tulip.c:v0.97=20 7/22/2003". The bad switch isn't broken, i.e. I have several connections on it=20 without any problem. The previous network card on this machine - a=20 Realtek 8139 - worked without problems on this switch also. Said all this I ask, do you still would like to continue the diagnosis=20 process? I can send all the info you need, and I would like to help, but=20 as the main problem is solved and it doesn't looks like a driver related=20 matter, I'm not sure you want to keep spending time on this matter. Thanks again for your time, patience and attention, Rodrigo Severo Donald Becker wrote: >On Mon, 15 Dec 2003, Rodrigo Severo wrote: > > =20 > >>I'm just trying to make a DFE 570 TX (4 ports board) work under Linux=20 >>Kernel 2.4.23.
