Hi, thanks for the reply I've intertwined my answers. Your main thrust is for more messages, I'm giving you all the messages I can find. Syslog, tulip-diag, ifconfig, lspci etc etc If you could be more specific as to where to look or what messages you are expecting then I can be more informed as to what I'm looking for. I'm not knowingly holding back any info. --- Donald Becker <[email protected]> wrote: > On Mon, 2 Feb 2004, Alistair Moir wrote: > > > Further to my original email here are four tulip-diaf -fa outputs > the > > first shows the card after inital set up, all is running well, the > > other three are when the card is down. > .. > > The messages in the log are :- > > NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out > > eth0: transmit timed out, status f4260000, CSR12 ffffffff, > resetting... > > What driver version is this? Below is the only message in syslog, should I look elsewhere for more messages? Other messages, what other messages? I'm giving all the info that I'm aware of. Where should I look for these other messages? ===== +-----------------------------------------------+ | /\ |\/| | | /--\LISTAIR | |OIR.
