loading the module

Hello,
I am new to this list and want to say hello and also ask a question ;)

I am currently running kernel version:

2.6.10-2.3.legacy_FC2smp

 

Within this kernel I already have 8021q.ko just need to load it.

 

Within modprobe.conf I would like to add it so on reboot it is added, I
was wondering what the syntax would be to add this in, or is this not
the same module?
