The only reason I can think of to stick with 2.4.21 is the
nfs-swap patch.
Anyway: I've been using vlans since 2.4.14, so I guess you should
check the driver changelog.
What drivers/hardware are you using?
And why (anything else from the nfs-swap patch) would anything
depend on that particular kernel release?
