Hi Raphael, deactivating the NIC ROM could be archived on several ways (partly depending on what kind of ROM code you're using): - NIC boot menu - via mb's BIOS boot order (depends on rom format and bios impl.) - with the DOS tool 3c90xcfg.exe from ftp://ftp.3com.com/pub/nic/3c90x/3c90x2.exe - erase it with cromutil from etherboot/contrib/3c90xutil (somewhat invasive) Hth, Pete On Monday 04 August 2003 13:29, Raphael Clifford wrote: > I am attempting to get my system to boot from the hard drive and am > having no luck.
