Hi, Ruben
No mouse or Xwindows on the system.. i dont even run gpm on the console
but i do have
multiple nics and one isa modem
This is a firewall system.

Interesting .irq 12 is shared by three NIC's... i may have to switch pci
slots or do some bios configuration: but this problem occurs on
whichever unit is primary .. its a two node system with one master and
one slave and while i have tried to keep the units as identical as
possible i dont think i went so far as to make all the interrupts the
same. Still thanks for the pointer .
below is the result of lspci -v
I dont see any thing that particularly sticks out other than the shared
inturrupt . but should that not cause overruns on all three interfaces
that are using it.. not just the one?
