Why is the "pci=biosirq" option there ?

While the amount of devices is not uncommon today, you might want to free 
up some IRQs by disabling in BIOS the devices that you don't use (like one 
USB port or FireWire) for good or just for testing. You can even go one 
step further by removing PCI cards... until things start working. Are 
interrupts shared the same way in Windows ?
