But they do ! Look at these lines in the dmesg output that you posted:

The two cards get assigned names eth0 and eth1 and IRQs 5 and 10. You
could check with 'cat /proc/interrupts' that they are there.

Check with 'ifconfig' or 'ip addr show' the IP address assignments.
