Hmmm, I thought that the 2.4.24 driver had this table entry.
Try
mkdir /tmp/netdrivers/
cd /tmp/netdrivers/
ncftpget ftp://ftp.scyld.com/pub/network/netdrivers.tgz
tar xfvz netdrivers.tgz
make
make install
which has additional PCI ID wildcard code.
