This is a bad idea; you can search the acrhives of this list for 
explanations.

How have you hardcoded the card at 100-FD ? This is most likely the
reason for the errors. Set both the switch and the card to
autonegotiate and the errors will go away.

I used to use lots of these cards for high-performance computing and I 
wouldn't have used them if they had such problems. But I make the 
policies for my clusters and the switches and cards were always set to 
autonegotiate.
