I have a problem with my 3c905-c cards not playing well with a D-link DI-704 cable modem router. I at first thought that it was the specific card that was messing up in some shape or form. But today I tried another card of the same type in a new server Im putting together and it exhibited the same behavior. When I plug the first card into the cable modem router it works like a charm. I am totally confused about this. Now I know it might look as though its the router acting up, but both of my roommates have 3c905-B cards that work just fine with this router. Anyone have any ideas about what is causing this? Oh on a related note, the card I just tried today seems to have a problem with irq sharing. Is there anything that can be done to cure this problem besides making sure it doesnt share an irq(this is an older card). Thanks P.S. please cc me on all responses as I am not subscribed. -- _______________________________________________ vortex mailing list [email protected] http://www.scyld.com/mailman/listinfo/vortex
