Problems with 3c59x driver network adapter stops working

Hello List!

I have a strange problems with our 3com network cards:

Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c905B 100BaseTX [Cyclone] (rev 100).

It is that it regulary blocks, this means that the network
card stops working. I don't see any particular messages in any
log file or on the console. I have to restart the network to
make it work again. I now try to force the 3c59x module to
work with "options=4 full_duplex=1" and see if I still have
the same problem. Otherwise I would have to install some sort
of heartbeat to see if I still have network access and if not
to restart the network driver, but this seems just plain stupid to
mee.

I use the latest RedHat 7.3 kernel driver (2.4.18-17.7.x).

Now I would really like to know if I'm the only one which this
type of problems or if there are more having the same problem
with this 10/100 MBit 3com network adapters.
